Happy Friday peeps!
I LOVE this video, and your Inbound Recruiter Trainer, wanted to share with you. After you watch it, I can only imagine how you think about how technology (or lack thereof) will affect your recruiting desk.
What is so interesting about technology is I believe it has made it harder for recruiters. IT WILL NOT GET ANY EASIER WITH TECHNOLOGY AND AUTOMATION!!!
Why? Everyone has access to the same talent, and the talent is BOMBARDED by every "Joe or Sally Recruiter", in every single way imaginable. (Phone, Fax, Mobile, Text, Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, YouTube, etc., etc.)
When all the barriers of entry (walls) have been busted down, what do we as recruiters have left?
ANSWER: INFLUENCE and PERSUASION
Yep, learning these tactics will insure your recruiting future, mark my words!

I am referring to a blog post on HUBSPOT, regarding this tactic that converts likes, comments, and subscribers.

In this VLOG (Video Web Log), Brian, your Inbound Recruiter reads and discusses a post from Seth Godin, "When everyone has access to the same tools".
Would you agree that we have a LAZY, ENTITLED society?
This day and age, we all share the same leads, its called the WORLD WIDE WEB, but what we do with those leads (names), is a very diverse outcome.
Aside from having a KICK-ASS Product or service, only (2) two things matter in your sales or recruiter desk.
INFLUENCE and PERSUASION... Not to be confused with control and manipulation!
Names means NOTHING, however, your emotional RELATIONSHIP to that name is EVERYTHING...

After all, you can't eat cheesecake everyday and be skinny, right?
